At May's Tenants' Meeting, we discussed which date the Residents would like to mark in June, from a list of food and drink dates. Dates included National Doughnut Day, National Cheese Day, Great British Pea Week, National Cream Tea Day and even International Pineapple Day!

The Residents unanimously voted for National Fish and Chips Day, on "Fryday" 4 June.

Thanks to Ossie's Fish Bar in Sandwich, we all enjoyed a fabulous spread, giving everyone the chance for a catch up and a chat on a very sunny Friday.

Incidentally - where once Fish and Chips were perceived to be England's national dish, it's now number 3 on a YouGov 2021 poll, behind Roast Chicken.
